a wild of nothing

"Where every something, being blent together turns to a wild of nothing."

Lauren. 23. On the fence about just about everything.

do you want to know a secret?

A couple months ago someone asked me for a list of my favorite books, and I provided a ridiculously long response because I really like the sound of my own voice… mental narrative… whatever. Anyway. I was sure I was forgetting some, and I definitely was. In fact, I know I’m still forgetting some now. Oh well. Here are a few more of my favorites:

The Color Purple - Alice Walker

Running With Scissors - Augusten Burroughs

The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera

Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury

Ishmael - Daniel Quinn (this book was recommended to me by thedeclineofthehumanrace when I posted the original list, and is awesome)

Young Adult books:

Breathing Underwater - Alex Flinn

Julie of the Wolves (trilogy) / My Side of the Mountain (trilogy) by Jean Craighead George

The Hatchet - Gary Paulsen

Animorphs (series) - K.A. Applegate

Matilda - Roald Dahl
